NAAN Survey November 2008

NAAN conducted a survey of members and police forces in England and Wales at the end of 2008.

All NAAN full members and police forces were sent a questionnaire designed:

• to provide up to date information about the state of appropriate adult services, and
• to seek views on the potential impact of some of the proposals in the current PACE Review consultation which was published by the Home Office on 28 August 2008.

Responses were used in preparing NAAN's response to the PACE consultation. They were also analysed to provide an up to date picture of AA services in England and Wales.
